Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry
A veneer or carefully placed filling can close spaces between the teeth or straighten-out crooked teeth. This procedure avoids costly orthodonture, but features the same results. Veneers, which are usually made of porcelain, cover the entire front of the tooth. They are bonded to the existing tooth structure thereby avoiding the need to cut away parts of the back of the tooth that may still be in tact. Our newest bonding techniques ensure that the porcelain veneer remains permanently attached. Through this process, a dark tooth can be lightened or exactly matched to an adjacent tooth. Your teeth will look straight and naturally colored.
Dental Implants
One of the greatest inventions of the last 25 years has been the dental implant, a screw-shaped device made of commercially pure titanium. When placed correctly in the jawbone, it adheres to the bone so that there is no mobility. This allows the construction of a crown, fixed bridge, or overdenture to be attached to these.
Teeth that are severely compromised can now be replaced with titanium implants at a 98% confidence level. Ask Dr. Goll or his staff about this wonderful and innovative option.
Restorative Dentistry
Routine restorative services include white fillings, caps (crowns) and bridges. Teeth that are broken down or discolored are most often restored with a crown. Most times this is made of a tooth colored material like porcelain. Some of the newest porcelains are so strong that an underlying layer of gold metal is completely unnecessary. These porcelains can even be used in bridges, allowing the natural look of enamel to be replicated and the maximum effect of translucency to show through.
Bleaching
Bleaching has become one of the popular and accessible services in the dental industry. Our office uses a special bleaching solution placed in a custom-made soft tray used for a mere two weeks. That's all there is to it! This method works better and faster than the store examples and it is considerably cheaper than the high-powered lasers.
Dentures
When creating a denture, Dr. Goll seeks to make it look and feel as natural as possible. Using denture teeth made of the finest materials available on the market today, our dentures appear realistic in every way. Beyond this, they are arranged to fit the shape and form of the patient's mouth, allowing comfort as well as attractiveness.
Patients whose teeth are cracked, stained or severely malpositioned often request an improvement. Sometimes this is easy but oftentimes this requires a temporary (or training) set of dentures. Dr. Goll makes sure to insert these dentures at the time of extraction, allowing you to leave the office with a replacement denture immediately in your mouth. After your recovery, we can then remake the dentures, spending the time and effort needed to carefully position the teeth to your exact facial contours. If need be, we can also begin to consider the possibility of further perfecting the teeth through the use of innovative and widely valued implants.
Special Services
Dr. Goll is trained to provide facial prostheses for patients who have been victims of cancer or trauma. Usually, Dr. Goll also works with an experienced surgeon who has performed the surgical reconstruction specific to the patient's need, then proceeds with the remainder of the dental care.
